When we are born into this world our mind is a blank slate, tubla rasa. As we grow, our life experiences bring stress to our mind and body. As humans, we need to learn to relieve or channel our stress in order to have a healthier life. Some of us can do this on our own, some of us need assistance. Getting assistance makes for a smart individual.

No matter what age or gender, stress is stress! Everyone's stress level is different but everyone has stress whether it's little children, teenagers, stay at home moms, doctors, lawyers, custodians, or office managers.

This class is not for creating an art form that can be taken home but rather in a therapeutic way. The clay is used along with counseling techniques and, of course, a positive attitude to help relieve stress and cleanse your mind. This slowly helps heal your body from the physical effects caused by stress.

This "therapeutic clay" class is great for families, couples, or any individual who wants to relieve stress, and heal their mind and body in a natural way.

You must pre-register for this class.

Mahiboob Vardhan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She received her Masters Degree in Counseling and Education from Canisus College. Because of life experiences, she has become a very giving and spiritual person taking great joy in helping others. When in her 20s, she developed a stress-induced auto-immune disorder making her very sick. She became even more stressed when told that there was almost no possibility of having children. Her stress was making her sicker and sicker.
So, she changed her mind and began to look at herself and life differently. She became a strong believer in the power of the mind to heal the body. She decided to heal her body using clay. With a passion for sculpting, something that comes naturally to Mahiboob, she learned how helpful this tool could be.

Today, she is blessed with two incredible children and a new life. Looking back at what she has done for herself and how she did it, she has decided to use her clay experience along with her counseling degree to help others heal their mind and body.
