Yin Flow Yoga
Our Yin Flow class is a fusion of traditional yin yoga (postures held softly for longer periods of time) and free flowing sequences that invigorate and balance the body and mind. This class is based on the work of master yin teacher, Bernie Clark of Vancouver. We will use the yin practice to increase flexibility, soften connective tissue, and become deeply introspective as we observe ourselves in stillness.
The flow sequences will include the Dragon Dance, the Golden Seed, the Daoist breath, Mini Sun Salutations and the Cloud Salutation. Once the sequences are learned, they approximate the effects of Tai Chi. This class will leave you feeling energized and relaxed!
