Spend the Holidays For-giving and Behold the Changes
‘Tis
the season for gift giving, but all our gifts don’t have to be wrapped in a box.
Sometimes the best gift is one that the receiver doesn’t even know they’re
getting. It is no coincidence that the word “give” is in forgive. To forgive is
a gift for both parties. It is not only a beautiful gift for the receiver, but
it is extremely important for our own well-being. Forgiving reduces our dis-ease,
restores our energy, and increases our peace of mind.
Forgiving isn’t always easy, but we have so much to lose if we don’t. When we
don’t forgive we lose love and we lose peace. Can you cease to feel resentment
against all? I encourage you not only to give the gift of forgiveness, but take
time this holiday season to spend some time with those you’re offering this
special gift. It isn’t necessarily necessary to let them know. Just be with
them in this different light of giving. Accept them for just what they are.
Watch the magic and behold the changes. I wish you all a wonderful holiday
season full of for-give-ness, love, and peace.
