Karma Yoga (Volunteer Services) News
Aloha Everyone,
By the time you read this I will have had
my baby! So, I'll be up and ready to do the American Heart Associations' Heart
walk at the Southfield Municipal Complex, 26000 Evergreen Rd. on May 17Th, we
will be meeting at 9am in front of the stage. The event is free, you do not
have to sign up to participate/walk and there will be lots of fun things to do
for the whole family. You may choose to walk a 1.5 or 3 mile route. Since I
have been participating in this walk and raising awareness over the past 2
years, I have met many families and individuals who have had to fight the
fight against the number one killer of women in the U.S. The S.E. Michigan
American Heart Association is a wonderful and active non-profit that strives
to help it's community with research, awareness and support. I have attached
the events' web links for more info and directions. Any dollar amount you
choose to donate greatly affects and helps people fight heart disease and
stroke. Thank you and I hope to see all your smiling faces!
